Many of the verbs from the previous lesson have other meanings which aren't stative:
A good dictionary will tell you if a particular meaning can't be used with the Progressive.
But even with their stative meanings some verbs can be used with the Progressive - for example look and feel with situations we are in the middle of:You look great today.
In the same way we can use the verbs of physical sensations e.g. hurt, ache, tickle and itch.
State Verbs can be used with the Progressive to talk about situations where something is progressively increasing or decreasing:
But the Progressive is never necessary here, and it's not always correct!
Want and mean can be used with the Perfect Progressive:I've been wanting to visit Morocco for 10 years!
